Awesome Playgrounds
These playgrounds are unbelievable. Have you ever been to a really cool playground? Where was it? Which one of these is your favorite? (Think either cool-looking design or one that would be great to use).

My favorite playground is the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 playground in Singapore because of all the colorful and creative structures to play on. In the picture, there are many things to crawl through, climb on, climb up, and slide down on. Therefore, because of everything that it has to offer to the children, I think that this playground is my favorite.
My fav. play ground is Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. This i my fav. play groung because it is very inviting and it convinces me that I'm a little kid agian. I really wish we had one of these playgrounds in our town.
@ AnCh373.... The playground Toa Payoh is really cool. It does have a creative structure and it looks fun and childish. Which ALOT of kids like. I like this playground alot. It reminds me of being a baby crawling around.
actually I relly like the wooden playground in wolf park because there are so many things to do there. you can sit in the little towers, talk through the little speakers, or use the rope tower. also there is always something new that you find in the playground.
@Kayliegh Ya I agree with both of you guys. this playground is really creative and a 5 year-old's dream! i love this because it is so colorful with shapes and tubes and sleek. I love the slide tower because it is different.
I personally liked all the playgrounds and designs that were showen i thought that these playgrounds were built better than an average american playground that we would see almost everyday going to school. I think this because i think that during the design process that the japenesse for example had, planned ahead and took into consideration the product life expectence, how for example they could use steal at x amount or pay x amount of dollars more and have a sturdy and strual sound playground that will last them for hundreds of years. This is of course is compared to an average american thought and design process of cheaper is better. I and i think lots more people think the same thing how americans don't think for the future and what is their overall cost be because if they spend say 8,000 dollars one year on a playground that will last them about five years, when they could make a playground that can cost them about 20,000 dollars and last them a lifetime, what would you chose. Therefore that is why i think that americans are not thinking through everything they have, costing them money and a very recent thing their economy, while other countries are overpowering them by thinking and becomeing successful, and this is showen in simple things like a playground for example.
I think that the coolest playground out of all of them would have to be the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Designed by Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam. I think that this is the coolest playground because there is plenty of room to run around and bounce and jump on everything. That is the coolest one that I thought there was. The coolest playground that I have been on was the Wolfe Park wooden playground. This is the most complex and the biggest playground that I have ever been on. I think that it would be very cool if we had the different playgrounds as we saw in the pictures around here!
@ Kayleigh I agree with you when you said that your favorite playground was the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Designed by Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam. I also thought that this was the best playground out of all of them. I would also feel like I would be a little kid again if I went on that playground and I wish that we had it here in Monroe or even Connecticut. That is why I agree with you.
@ AnCh373 I agree with you that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 playground really cool and interesting because of all the weird and different slides and climbing steps. I think that this is really interesting and different to us because we haven't experienced this kind of playground. I think that we don't have these kinds of playgrounds here in the Northeast or even in american because we can never think ahead how we can pay a certain amount for a ok playground that will last about three years compared to one that is lifetime.I think that cost and the lack of creativity that is luring in the US is the main culprit of these bad playgrounds and some bigger issues like the economy.I think that if the U.S.A. fixed these problems they would run better and become more successful. Therefore that is why i think that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 is interesting and why Americans are really struggling these days.
By far, my favorite playground is the water park one in Poland. This has such a neat setup! It kind of reminds me of the Spectacular Lights who they put on in Disney Land! Kids of any age would be interested in running through a rainbow of colors like that and the getting sprinkled with water along the way. Plus based on the picture, the water park seems pretty big and roomy. It looks very unique and playful even without the lights around the water. I think this playground would draw kids in the most. EVery kid loves to play with water, and the razzle dazzle of the entire place mass the kids even more interested in their play area.
@ !DANCE!, I have to disagree with you. I think the Woods of Net would be a bit scary for a kid to play on. I mean based on the pictures, it looks a little weird, and I know it's safe, but kids might not think that and be scared. For our age it's really cool, but a first grader might not think that. This could possibly be a problem for the amount of visitors they get a t the park. I mean, some parents might even question the safety of the playground as well. Therefore, I think the Woods of Net playground isn't the best choice for a playground.
I think by far the most coolest playground there is is Sculptural playground in Schulberg, Germany. I think that this is the coolest one because I have always loved nets cause I like to climb, so of course I would like it. Whenever I would go to the wooden playground, I would go on the net pyramids.
I agree with abc123comewithme becasuse of the fact that we have a cool playground in our town. It's the Wolf Park Playground. There's monkey bars, swings, slides, etc... That is why I think that we have a great playground in our town.

I think that the coolest playground out of all the ones shown was the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. I think this because it has many things that the average child likes to do, such as, climbing ropes, swings, and plenty of space to run. Even though it's low key compared to the Woods of Net, the wooden playground at Wolfe Park is the best I have been to. It also has plenty of things a child can do. It has plenty of room to run, lots of swings, and loads of climbing room.
@panthers502 I agree with you because you said that the Woods of Net playground would be really nice to play in. Though it is consisting of two things, net and rubber floor, you can do lots of things. You can swing on the net balls drooping off of the main netting, you can climb the main net (if you're a good enough climber), and there's lots of space to run around and just have a good time.
Every young kid while playing alone or with friends can be in their own little world while using their imagination and everyone can probably admit to playing "lava" or playing "house" or making up some crazy storyline to back up the game they are playing. Either way, any playground design you pick, kids will be able to have a great time using it but one that would be interesting if you over heard the kids’ conversations while they are caught up in their stories of their imagination would be The Brumleby playground, Copenhagen. I think this because judging from the look of the design, kids can probably come up with some pretty warped but humorous reasons as of why the houses and buildings are like that. Usually when kids come up with some sort of story to whatever they are playing with there are characters assigned to someone of their imagination or some other kid willing to play. There is usually a plot and a solution but with this playground these stories would be pretty interesting because of the set up and design. Also, kids can even play the classics of not touching the ground because there is lava rising or playing “house” because someone happens to have a doll with them, after all these are house looking structures.
I have been to a playground similar to the water playground in Poland that was pretty cool. There was a water playground in Boston that had holes in the ground that would randomly shoot out columns of water like geysers. Therefore, I have been to a pretty cool water playground. I would have to say that the playground in Sweden with the blue whale design was my favorite because the whale design was original and fresh. For these reasons is this playground my favorite.
my favorite playground is The Brumleby playground, Copenhagen. Designed by Monstrum. this is because the towers look like swaying buildings, which adds a cool effect. i would love to play on it. also it has a rope bridge in between so it would be fun to climb.
@Kotonashi I agree with you when you say that the German playground was one of the best playgrounds. For example, in your response you said that you enjoy rope climbing, as do I. Therefore, I agree with you when you say that the German playground was one of the best playgrounds because of the ropes.
I like the green rope playground the best because I love rope courses and things like that. There is a cool setup to that playground because you can climb around from the sides and there are also ropes that dangle down from the main floor. That would be awesome to play tag there. I thing that all of the playgrounds were really cool though.
I think that the coolest playground that I have ever been on had a big rope pyramid with nets all around it. You were able to climb up to the top and the jump off. There were also little rubber knobs that you could climb the pole on. People would have races to see who could get to the top first. I don't remember where this was because I was a lot younger but I do know that it was a lot like some of the playgrounds that were shown in the pictures.
I have never been to any cool playgrounds like these. I have only been to a park in the carrieban and i dont remeber it but these are much better than the ones we have here in CT. I wish we had some like these
@ Kayleigh I agree with you because playgrounds are fun and inviting. Even now they make you feel like a kid again. Also yeah, I wish we had these in our town.
I have been to playgrounds but these just blew my mind. These playgrounds are so interesting because of there intricate design and how they really utilize the imagination. My personal favorite was the one in which had the curved houses because it kind of twist reality to extent where it is almost fantasy. So therefore these playgrounds are quite interesting for there designs.
Anonymous I agree with you that kids have an endless imagination. But these playgrounds can take this imagination to another level because of how wild they are. Also these crazy imaginations will lead to even crazier, more intriguing and more gregarious designs. That is because maybe a handful of those kids will be able to take there imagination and make it something unfathomable yet real. So therefore these playgrounds help kids imaginations grow.
I believe that out of those 15 playgrounds, my favorite one is the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Although I have not been there and don't know exactly what it is, I love the fact that it's seems so peacful but crazy at the same time. Also, it's so colorful that I just wish I could grasp all of the different colors into the palm of my hand. My favorite playground that I have been to myself is one in my hometown, Buffalo New york. It was such a simple playground, but I have so many memories stored in that one little area next to my school. I used to practice gymnastics there almost everyday, and I ran around with other little kids. To me, that playground beats any of these any day.That is why my favorite playground out of the 15 is the Woods of Net, but most favorite is the one in Buffalo.
I agree with your comment. The Woods of Net playground is my favorite as well, and I also think that we should have a playground in our town. In Monroe, it would be nice to have a little change and another thing to do. That is why I agree with your comment.
@Kayleigh I agree with you because it is the opposite of a normal playground. If it were a more normal playground, the houses would not be bent and it probably would not look as creative either. Having the houses bent in that way shows how cool and creative it really is! So, I agree with you because of its creativity and how cool it was.
My favorite playground was the Belleville Playground in Paris because it was named after David Belle, and inspired by parkour. The picture of this playground shows that it is sloped and has many different places that you can use to do parkour. This puts more of a variety of things to do other than just go on a slide at a normal playground, making it my favorite.
@ AnCh373: I agree that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 playground is very cool. It's colors and design should attract people who would drive by, and kids who like adventure would most certainly beg their parents to take them to the playground for a little while, and a little while can become a long time.
I absolutely agree with Man on the Moon when they say, "My personal favorite was the one in which had the curved houses because it kind of twist reality to extent where it is almost fantasy." I agree with this because the houses and buildings are really warped and some child can easily come up with some creative game to play with it. It really would be interesting to over hear the way kids will utilize their imagination when playing on this playground.
My favorite playground was the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. It is very cool. Kids could play on the bouncing balls surrounding the net. If they don't want to do that, they could climb up the Jenga block-like sides and jump in the actual net. Thererfore, since the playground provides many things to do with te nets, it is my favorite playground.
@KirillR98 I agree with you that there are many things to at the Woods of Net playground. You can jump, play, or swing on the big net balls hanging from the ceiling, you can climb the giant net or even go in it, and there is so much room for children to run around, climb, and swing. Therefore, since there are so many different objects to p lay on, the Woods of Net playground is the best playground.
There was one awsome play ground i used to like when I was young this play ground used to be in Shelton I had long tall slides, about 8 swings, a sea saw, one of those circular things that would spin really fast and you would have to hold on so you wouldn't fly off, and they also had a huge variaty of diffrent types of fun things you could do and never get boared.
Out of all those playgrounds I think the coolest one is the seventh one. It is very colorful and has things that I have never seen before. The side ways bent look really cool and I have never experienced anything like that, so you to see what it's like. Most kids want to try new things, that playground is something new that kids want to try.
@!DANCE! I agree with you the woods of the net was a cool playground. It was very colorful and had many cool things to do on it. Everything looked like you could bounce on it and run around. It was very different looking and caught the eye. Kids would love to play on this playground.
My favorite Park is in East Haven the park is called Hanna's Park. And my favorite playground on the list was the second. I really liked the second one because it looks very unique. I also really love the colors. Even though there are only two colors they make it look unique.
@Marissa I disagree with you because even though that it is colorful it is confusing because it looks like a big ball of string.I know this because they are all tangled. This is important because it can hurt someone.
I thought the coolest one was the whale one, A.K.A. The Blue Whale in Plikta Park, Gothenburg, Sweden, designed by Monstrum. I thought this was cool, because it showed creativity and "thinking out of the box". I also liked this design, because it was actually a playground you could play on. Those are the two reasons why I think the The Blue Whale playground is impressive.
@ edemace I agree. I wish we had an interesting park in Monroe, CT. Maybe if we had the budget to pay for one, we could have it as a tourist attraction. It could bring money in, if we decided it would cost money to use it. Of course residents in Monroe could use it for free.
My favorite playground was the woods of net in japan. That is because it was so colorful and i love to climb on nets. The pattern was very interesting and it had net bags to sit in.
@Emerson18 I agree with you in many ways. The nets are really interesting and the multiple ways of playing are very interesting. The bouncy balls, jenga climbing sides, and a large net that you can either climb into or jump from the walls into. All in all it sounds fantastic.
My favorite playground was the one designed by Tom Otterness, located in Hell's Kitchen NYC because it is shaped like a man. The playground was so cool because it was a giant man that was bronze colored. The arms and legs are slides! I found this one the most unique and creative because I have never seen anything like it before. Therefore because the playground designed by Tom Otterness was so unique it was my favorite.
@Kayleigh Now, after reviewing the playgrounds I agree that the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan was the coolest playground because it is like a wonderland. It is so cool to be in a forest of nets, turned into seats and swings. I would definitely want to go there and would pay to come inside! This would be the greatest place in the world for a kid to hang out. Therefore because this is the coolest most wonderful looking place in the world I agree that it is the best.
When I lived in Michigan there was a similar play ground to the Water playground in Tychy, Poland. We would go there ever summer, but it didn't have the colorful water spraying out. My favorite playground though would have to be The Woods of Nest in Hakone, Japan. This playground is a creative interpretation on the normal swings. Also its colorful, lots of space to run and climb on things.
@Emerson18 I agree with you because this playground is full of possibilities for everyone, whether it is to climb the jenga like sides or jump into the large net, this playground is full of imagination and reminds me of being a kid again.
All of the playgrounds were spectacular and were extremely creative. But of all of them the best one was the sculptural playground in Schulberg, Germany designed by ANNABAU. My favorite part of all playgrounds in the nesting where you can climb on and this entire part is covered with this netting, both vertical and horizontal and even tilted sideways!
The best playground I have been to was in New Canaan. The playground has many advanced and cool elements. It has a rock wall, monkey bars, slides, and tunnels. However the best part of this playground was this huge spider web! This web must've been 15 feet high. Kids could climb up to the top of it. There were many rubber ropes that connected to make the "webbish" ladder. The web also connected the main part of the playground to the high climbing area. In addition, the ground was made of a solid tire material which would soften a fall from the web. Overall this playground was amazing and by far the best I have ever been on!
I like all the playgrounds equally.The reason for that is because all of them are different from each other and unique in there own way so you can't actually say one is better then the other because none of them are the same so you can't compare them like for example the water playground and the monster playground are different from each other and have different fun things about them.
@G-Man I agree with you that the playground that is shaped like a man is really creative. Not only does it look like it is a ton of fun, but it also looks really eye-apealing as well. I could have never thought of something like that, yet it is simple.

With all the stuff to climb on, I could imagine spending hours at this playground. Therefore this playground is the most entertaining and fun!
I personally think that lots of Usa parks are pretty simple. The reason I think that is because the parks I have been to have just swings, slides, and monkey bars and it is a simple design of those things.

There are many things to crawl through, climb, and its very colorful with attracts many parents and children because if this was painted grey and black, I dont think many kids would be attracted to it, if maybe, be a little scared by it and shows prevention. Therefore, I agree with you because the colorful, design, does really cope with what they were looking for.
My favorite playground out of all of these is the The Blue Whale in Plikta park, Gothenburg, Sweden. This is because whales have been my favorite animal of ever and to play inside of one would be so much fun! Out of all the playgrounds on the list, playing inside of a giant whale would be the best, hands down.
@Ghost I agree with you because the whale design really does express creativity and showcases something totally different than all the other playgrounds.
My favorite playground was the bumbleby because its like a house from dr.suses or something. A really cool playground i have been to was in flordia. It was huge had a bunch of slides climbing walls and everthing else. It was like a mega playground complex, it even had a huge pirate ship with thousands of tunnels and mazes.
@YouJustGotCerved I agree that the whale playground was one of the coolest one. This is because playing inside of a giant animal is just so much fun they should have more parks like this.
My favorite playground is The Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. I like it because it is one of the most original play grounds i have ever seen. I think it is really cool how they used the ropes. The hanging seats make this playground even more unique. Also i think the out side wall is petty amazing. It was very well built. This design is both a beautiful play ground and an architectural masterpiece
I agre with AnCh373 because i also think that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 playground looks like an enjoy able play. I think that the things you mentioned like the thing to climb on, crawl through, and slide down are all valid reasons for kids to enjoy this playground. I would also like to point out the design of the play ground it is built to look similar to a dragon. This make the playground even more attractive.
My favorite of these was the woods of net in Japan. It is so colorful, and so different from any other playground I've ever seen before. It looks like a lot of fun for any kid, and it looks amazing. Because it is so colorful and entertaining, it is my favorite of the playgrounds pictured.
I agree with ShyWolf32, who said the brumbly playground was their favorite. Even though it wasn't my favorite, it was very cool, and I agree that it looked like it was from a Dr. Seuss book, because of its tilted colorful houses. It also looked like a lot of fun. Because of how amazing that playground is, I agree with ShyWolf32
I am not really a fan of playgrounds because I feel like they can be very dangerous most of the time. But if I had to chose one from the article, it would be the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. This is because it looks very fun and interesting. I personally wouldn't go on it, but for a kid that likes playgrounds, I think that they would really engoy this playground in Japan. That is my feedback to this article.
@ShyWolf32.... I agree with you. I agree with you when you say that the The Brumleby playground, in Copenhagen looked like something from Dr. Suess. I think this also because it has a twisty feeling to it, just like Dr. Suess' writing felt like. That is why I agree with you.
My favorite one is the sculptural playground in Schulberg, Germany. I say this because it is entirely of the ground. You can climb on it on the net and other platforms make it easy to get there. This looks fun so that's why I this playground is my favorite.

There was 1 playground that I went to, there was a giant web, and at the bottom there was another web witch would catch you if you feel (even if you did so on purpose) Also, there was a giant prism witch you could climb on.
I have never been to a really cool playground like any of these but wish I could. My favorite one is the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan playground because it really stuck out to me. All of the playgrounds were really cool, but I thought this one had really pretty colors and was really unique. However, I’m not really sure how much use kids could get out of using this playground. I just thought that this one was very extraordinary.
I don’t agree with Man on the Moon because I don’t think kids actually care that the curved house one was “twist reality to extent where it is almost fantasy.” It’s a playground, where kids like to play, not look into the thought of the design. There is nothing much for the kids to even do on that particular playground, what’s fun about that?
I liked the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland. This is because it looks really cool at night. It is also very colorful. It would really be cool if we had a play ground like this in Monroe at wolf park or at the lake.
I agree with you AVgleek17 because I also thought that the water park was the coolest play ground since the colors that it had at night were very elaborate. This is why I thought that the water park was the best.
I liked the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland because I really liked these kind of playgrounds when I was smaller and it seems cool. The colors match the type of playground perfectly. That's why I liked this playground.

@Peter P I agree with you that thte water park would be cool looking at night. this is because maybe the lights could illuminate the water, and then there would be gleaming streaks of water all over the place. this is why I think the water park would look cool at night.

@The1 I agree with you because the water park could be very fun to play with at night. I know this because, like you said, the colors would be sprouting up all over the place. It would look like liquid fireworks! Plus, you could sneak around the playground with no one able to see you unless you stepped in the way of the lights, which would make it perfect for Hide And Seek. This is why I agree that it would be a fun place to play at night.
I think the most interesting is the Playground in Sweden. I think this because it looks like a whole lot of fun and it looks like it could be for all ages.
I think the best and most attractive playground out of the fifteen is the Woods of Net playground in Hakone, Japan. I think it was the best because it was the largest, most colorful. That would catch people's attention, and would make them want to visit it. I also think that it looks very unique. Most playgrounds aren't extremely colorful with bright neons colors, and have a large netting center piece. So I think that the Woods of net playground is the best playground.
I agree with Emma because you said that you thought the best playground was the Woods of Net playground because of it's unique design and structure, and because kids can swing and climb on it. I agree this playground is the best because of how unique it is, and because of how much you can do there. I think that kids would enjoy this playground, therefore I agree with you.
My favorite play ground is the one in japan called woods of net because when i think of a play ground it has to have crazy color which this did and thing to jump,climb, and swing all over which this also has. i also like this becase it looked almost as though it belonged in an art musuem like the MOMA because it looked very modern and different.
My favorite playground from those would be Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Why? Because I love climbing! I may not be able to win a fight because I’m not very strong, but when you are as light as I am, climbing, pull-ups, sit-ups, and pushups are extremely easy!
My favorite was the Brumleby playground in Copenhagen. This is because of the way that it bends reality. The way that the houses bend makes it an incredibly interesting structure, even just to look at. The time and effort that must've gone into building it is ridiculous. That is why I think that this playground would be phenomenal to play on and also just incredible.
Out of all the playgrounds I have gone to, the coolest one would have to be ether Wolf Park (purely because of its size and because it’s like a maze), or I don’t know exactly where it is, but somewhere between Bangor MA and Steuben, there is a playground behind a fast food restraint, I like it because it has one of those man powered marry-go-round.
@WOOLEYWAM I agree with you that the Woods of Net in Japan was a very interesting playground. Like you said, the playground has very cool colors and is really unique. The way the colors overlap and blend together perfectly is fascinating. Rarely do you see something so well thought out as this, where they had to know exactly what they were going to do. That is why I agree with you that this was a great playground.
I do not recal any AMAZING playgrounds that I have seen. But the ones in the article. Those were pretty awesome. I have always had an idea for a playground. A giant swirly slide, and one huge trampoline leading up to a set of monkey bars and/or a zipline. It would also have a gigantic tree house like thing that is in normal playgrounds. That is just the start of my dream treehouse. But overall, I havent seen any cool playgrounds besides these.
I agree. This is because I used to go to that same playground. It had something like 8 swings and had one of those spinny things that you had to hold on to. I always loved that long slide. That see-saw was amazing too. Overall I agree, that place did have a pretty cool playground.
My favorite playground was at Reed Intermediate School in Newtown. It was my favorite because it had so many jungle jims and even a big climbing tower made of rope.

My favorite would probably be the one in New York City designed by Tom Otterness. i think that it is so cool how a playground could be made to look like a person. and i really like how there are smaler people on the design.
My favorite playground was Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Although I liked every playground because it connected to the culture of all of the areas they were built. For example the Forest of Cherry Blossoms at Moerenuma Park, Hokkaido, Japan really connected to japans technology advancing, and bright color and shape culture. In sweden they had a park with a blue whale which connected to their sea and northern culture. As you can see all of the playgrounds connect to the environment that they are in.
I believe these playgrounds really are creative because I've never seen anything like them...EVER. Who has ever seen anything like the one by Tom Otterness in NYC!? I know I definitely haven't - it's so unique! I would neveer believe that playground could also be a huge robot! Therefore, these originals are very different and creative, and would definitely be cool to go and visit sometime.
I agree that my favorite was the woods of net in japan. I think this because it is a giant net and has a really cool architectural design. I think this would be very interesting and different for kids to climb through and on. The bright colors and new technological design play towards Japan's culture. Therefor, I think this playground is the best because, it has a good, safe architectural design, it would be fun and challenging for kids to play on, and it connects with the Japanese Culture.
@littlemonster I can agree that most of the playground we often go to, or see are not very creative because all there is are swings, slides, and not much else. But these playgrounds completely take ordinary to a totally different level!!! Especially ones like the first picture (the whale). It has multiple functions that are not the usual ones, and looks a ton of fun compared to the normal playgrounds where all we do is the same thing. Therefore, these playgrounds would be a lot more fun to have some-what locally because our time would be better spent when coming to these types of playgrounds vs. the ordinary ones we normally go to.
I have not been to such an awesomeplayground before. But my favorite playground from these pictures would have to be the Brumleby playground in Copenhagen because of the illusion. It seems as though the whole playground set itself of off, when in reality its not, this is fun and appeasing to the eye so it probably looks 10 times more awsome in a little kid's eyes. Besides this playground has all of the features included, rather than some of the other designs which are either a single slide, or a rock climbing wall, and such. Plus this playground looks a bit more safe as well. This is why This desgned playground is my favorite out of all 15.

Its extremely plaine, I mean sometimes it can take alot to have a child enjoy a playground with out alot of things to do, if and when they get bored of one thing. Wouldn't you ever get bored? Because of your earlier statement I don't find this to be one of the best playgrounds out of all of them.
I believe that the most interesting playground on the article would be the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland because of the way it is designed. One example of how interesting the playground is, is how kids can have a giant area of playing in all these different spray features. Another example of how interesting the design of the water park is, is that when it gets darker out the spray feature would light up in different colors. Therefore, since after looking at the two pictures of this park, I believe that it had the most interesting design.

I think this article really showed how creative people have became over the years. Not that long ago almost all playgrounds had the same boring, familiar designs. They were all mostly made of wood or plastic with simple nessacities like slides, monkey bars and swings. But now we have these amazing extravagent playgrounds. It just goes to show how much creative and intuitive we have come to be. 100 years ago people would probably never dream of playgrounds like this but now they are popping up everywhere.

These playgrounds are just the start. It is vital to be able to try new things like these playgrounds. No, Sadly I have not been to any cool playgrounds. My favorite playground on the article would be the rope one. It would definitely be this one because when I was younger and still now I love to hang on ropes. That is exactly what that one is meant for.

I couldn't choose between The Forest of Cherry Blossoms at Moerenuma Park, Hokkaido, Japan and Monster footprint in Shenzhen, China. The Forest of Cherry Blossoms is one of my favorites because of the fact that it looks absolutely beautiful at night with the water lit up and the different colors mixing together perfectly! I also like the Monster footprint because I love to climb so that one seems the most fun to me! One cool park I went to in Hawaii which I don't remember the name of, but they had a lot of tunnels and you had to find your way out by going down a slide and a few of the slides had water at the bottoms.
Kaleigh, I agree with you on that playground because it does have an inviting look that makes you want to sit down or just stare at the way it's designed since it is a super cool design! If you are able to go inside of it this would defiantly be my favorite playground because it looks similar to a trampoline and it also has swings along with seats that look a lot more comfortable than our park benches!
Those are some pretty cool playgrounds but I'd have to say my favorite one is the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. It is very colorful and peaceful and from the looks of it, it seems like a lot of fun!! I would have enjoyed playing there when I was little a lot! That is why it is one of my favorites, I never seen such a colorful playground.
My favorite play ground out of all of these is the colorful one made out of strings. I liked it because it was so bright and happy and it looked so fun fro children to play on. It reminds me of a Dr.Sesus cartoon and i loved Dr. Sesus as a kid so that could be why I think it looks so cool to me. I have been on one play ground before, it was this science playground. One wall of the building was made of stained glass it looked so cool. There were different sections within the science playground and it was run with solar panels, windmills and other green resources.
I found the Woods of Net playground in Hakone, Japan very interesting. It was very colorful and looked like it was made of yarn. The "playground" was pink, red, orange, yellow, seen blue and purple! For a child, just seeing bright, vivid colors is amazing, but even the shape of it was very eye catching. There were hanging balls of yarn that kids could swing on and little beanbag like structures of this material that could be used as a place to sit down and relax. All in all, this was a very cool playground because of its eye catching colors and amazing structural design.
I disagree with what you said, saying that that most interesting playground was the twisted houses one. In the picture there are two houses are slanting and twisted. You said that this was you're favorite because it was so different. However, I didn't think it was very different or unique because they really just looked like regular houses that were slanted. I really enjoyed looking at the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland. Its bright colors during the evening really captured my attention. I was in awe, looking at the amazing water park like structure they built there. There are umbrella water fountains, creative kite-like water showers and even a walk through tunnel water fountain as well! Also, this playground was very unique, because it is not common for an all water playground. For me, this place is paradise for I am a water lover myself. All in all, this was one of my favorite playgrounds because of its captivating nighttime lights, its structural design and its uniqueness.
My favorite playground of these was the water playground in Poland because it looked not only unique, but very fun and colorful. The designers didn't keep the water dull and plain, but actually added color to it making it look more fun and interesting. I have been to a water playground somewhat similar to this one in Maryland. It was quite fun to try to dodge the water but still end up soaked. I find these playgrounds to be nice for a hot summer day.

They not only shot water out of the ground, but also added color for the extra excitement. I think that was very clever to connect to.
My favorite playground is the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland because it looks so un-real. In the first picture they show it looks very magical and kids would enjoy that because they themselves would want to be magical. Also, it is very bright and sends out a happy vibe. It's also very open. There's enough room for a good amount of kids to play there.
My favorite playground was the one in Japan that was a huge 3D net, and the twisted house. I like the net because it looks so different, and I bet you could take a nice long nap in it. In addition, I think that the twisted playground is cool, because I would get so dizzy on that. It also looks like it needed a lot of archietectural structure to build safely. Therefore, my favorite playgrounds were the net and the twisted house ones for their unique designs.

I liked it just because of how unique it is, and how people play on it without getting injured. As I said before, I could just take a long nap in the middle, like a caterpiller in a cacoon. In addition, I would have never thought of making a playground out of a huge multicolored net. Therefore, the Woods of Net playground in Japan is my favorite for its unique design.

I think another great playground is the Large Cod because i am Fascinated by marine life and the environment. Also it looks like a great big space to runaround and have some adventures. I also think that the landscape is unique with the green poles coming out of the ground the represent the seaweed of the ocean floor.

I think a playground that would be effective would be a millenuim falcon ship that would have swings shaped like star ships and mind blowing detail to the contol panel. Also, there could be a flight simulator. This could be effective to young and old kids.

I personally liked all the playgrounds and designs that were showen i thought that these playgrounds were built better than an average american playground that we would see almost everyday going to school. I think this because i think that during the design process that the japenesse for example had, planned ahead and took into consideration the product life expectence, how for example they could use steal at x amount or pay x amount of dollars more and have a sturdy and strual sound playground that will last them for hundreds of years. This is of course is compared to an average american thought and design process of cheaper is better. I and i think lots more people think the same thing how americans don't think for the future and what is their overall cost be because if they spend say 8,000 dollars one year on a playground that will last them about five years, when they could make a playground that can cost them about 20,000 dollars and last them a lifetime, what would you chose. Therefore that is why i think that americans are not thinking through everything they have, costing them money and a very recent thing their economy, while other countries are overpowering them by thinking and becomeing successful, and this is showen in simple things like a playground for example.

I agree with you that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 playground really cool and interesting because of all the weird and different slides and climbing steps. I think that this is really interesting and different to us because we haven't experienced this kind of playground. I think that we don't have these kinds of playgrounds here in the Northeast or even in american because we can never think ahead how we can pay a certain amount for a ok playground that will last about three years compared to one that is lifetime.I think that cost and the lack of creativity that is luring in the US is the main culprit of these bad playgrounds and some bigger issues like the economy.I think that if the U.S.A. fixed these problems they would run better and become more successful. Therefore that is why i think that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 is interesting and why Americans are really struggling these days.
By far, my favorite playground is the water park one in Poland. This has such a neat setup! It kind of reminds me of the Spectacular Lights who they put on in Disney Land! Kids of any age would be interested in running through a rainbow of colors like that and the getting sprinkled with water along the way. Plus based on the picture, the water park seems pretty big and roomy. It looks very unique and playful even without the lights around the water. I think this playground would draw kids in the most. EVery kid loves to play with water, and the razzle dazzle of the entire place mass the kids even more interested in their play area.

I have to disagree with you. I think the Woods of Net would be a bit scary for a kid to play on. I mean based on the pictures, it looks a little weird, and I know it's safe, but kids might not think that and be scared. For our age it's really cool, but a first grader might not think that. This could possibly be a problem for the amount of visitors they get a t the park. I mean, some parents might even question the safety of the playground as well. Therefore, I think the Woods of Net playground isn't the best choice for a playground.
I think by far the most coolest playground there is is Sculptural playground in Schulberg, Germany. I think that this is the coolest one because I have always loved nets cause I like to climb, so of course I would like it. Whenever I would go to the wooden playground, I would go on the net pyramids.

I agree with you because you said that the Woods of Net playground would be really nice to play in. Though it is consisting of two things, net and rubber floor, you can do lots of things. You can swing on the net balls drooping off of the main netting, you can climb the main net (if you're a good enough climber), and there's lots of space to run around and just have a good time.
Every young kid while playing alone or with friends can be in their own little world while using their imagination and everyone can probably admit to playing "lava" or playing "house" or making up some crazy storyline to back up the game they are playing. Either way, any playground design you pick, kids will be able to have a great time using it but one that would be interesting if you over heard the kids’ conversations while they are caught up in their stories of their imagination would be The Brumleby playground, Copenhagen. I think this because judging from the look of the design, kids can probably come up with some pretty warped but humorous reasons as of why the houses and buildings are like that. Usually when kids come up with some sort of story to whatever they are playing with there are characters assigned to someone of their imagination or some other kid willing to play. There is usually a plot and a solution but with this playground these stories would be pretty interesting because of the set up and design. Also, kids can even play the classics of not touching the ground because there is lava rising or playing “house” because someone happens to have a doll with them, after all these are house looking structures.
I have been to a playground similar to the water playground in Poland that was pretty cool. There was a water playground in Boston that had holes in the ground that would randomly shoot out columns of water like geysers. Therefore, I have been to a pretty cool water playground.
I would have to say that the playground in Sweden with the blue whale design was my favorite because the whale design was original and fresh. For these reasons is this playground my favorite.

I agree with you when you say that the German playground was one of the best playgrounds. For example, in your response you said that you enjoy rope climbing, as do I. Therefore, I agree with you when you say that the German playground was one of the best playgrounds because of the ropes.
I like the green rope playground the best because I love rope courses and things like that. There is a cool setup to that playground because you can climb around from the sides and there are also ropes that dangle down from the main floor. That would be awesome to play tag there. I thing that all of the playgrounds were really cool though.
I think that the coolest playground that I have ever been on had a big rope pyramid with nets all around it. You were able to climb up to the top and the jump off. There were also little rubber knobs that you could climb the pole on. People would have races to see who could get to the top first. I don't remember where this was because I was a lot younger but I do know that it was a lot like some of the playgrounds that were shown in the pictures.
I have never been to any cool playgrounds like these. I have only been to a park in the carrieban and i dont remeber it but these are much better than the ones we have here in CT. I wish we had some like these

My personal favorite was the one in which had the curved houses because it kind of twist reality to extent where it is almost fantasy. So therefore these playgrounds are quite interesting for there designs.
Anonymous I agree with you that kids have an endless imagination. But these playgrounds can take this imagination to another level because of how wild they are. Also these crazy imaginations will lead to even crazier, more intriguing and more gregarious designs. That is because maybe a handful of those kids will be able to take there imagination and make it something unfathomable yet real. So therefore these playgrounds help kids imaginations grow.
I believe that out of those 15 playgrounds, my favorite one is the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Although I have not been there and don't know exactly what it is, I love the fact that it's seems so peacful but crazy at the same time. Also, it's so colorful that I just wish I could grasp all of the different colors into the palm of my hand. My favorite playground that I have been to myself is one in my hometown, Buffalo New york. It was such a simple playground, but I have so many memories stored in that one little area next to my school. I used to practice gymnastics there almost everyday, and I ran around with other little kids. To me, that playground beats any of these any day.That is why my favorite playground out of the 15 is the Woods of Net, but most favorite is the one in Buffalo.

I agree with you because it is the opposite of a normal playground. If it were a more normal playground, the houses would not be bent and it probably would not look as creative either. Having the houses bent in that way shows how cool and creative it really is! So, I agree with you because of its creativity and how cool it was.
My favorite playground was the Belleville Playground in Paris because it was named after David Belle, and inspired by parkour. The picture of this playground shows that it is sloped and has many different places that you can use to do parkour. This puts more of a variety of things to do other than just go on a slide at a normal playground, making it my favorite.

You can jump, play, or swing on the big net balls hanging from the ceiling, you can climb the giant net or even go in it, and there is so much room for children to run around, climb, and swing. Therefore, since there are so many different objects to p lay on, the Woods of Net playground is the best playground.
There was one awsome play ground i used to like when I was young this play ground used to be in Shelton I had long tall slides, about 8 swings, a sea saw, one of those circular things that would spin really fast and you would have to hold on so you wouldn't fly off, and they also had a huge variaty of diffrent types of fun things you could do and never get boared.
Out of all those playgrounds I think the coolest one is the seventh one. It is very colorful and has things that I have never seen before. The side ways bent look really cool and I have never experienced anything like that, so you to see what it's like. Most kids want to try new things, that playground is something new that kids want to try.

My favorite Park is in East Haven the park is called Hanna's Park. And my favorite playground on the list was the second. I really liked the second one because it looks very unique. I also really love the colors. Even though there are only two colors they make it look unique.

I thought the coolest one was the whale one, A.K.A. The Blue Whale in Plikta Park, Gothenburg, Sweden, designed by Monstrum. I thought this was cool, because it showed creativity and "thinking out of the box". I also liked this design, because it was actually a playground you could play on. Those are the two reasons why I think the The Blue Whale playground is impressive.

I agree with you in many ways. The nets are really interesting and the multiple ways of playing are very interesting. The bouncy balls, jenga climbing sides, and a large net that you can either climb into or jump from the walls into. All in all it sounds fantastic.
My favorite playground was the one designed by Tom Otterness, located in Hell's Kitchen NYC because it is shaped like a man. The playground was so cool because it was a giant man that was bronze colored. The arms and legs are slides! Now, after reviewing the playgrounds I agree that the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan was the coolest playground because it is like a wonderland. It is so cool to be in a forest of nets, turned into seats and swings. I would definitely want to go there and would pay to come inside! This would be the greatest place in the world for a kid to hang out. Therefore because this is the coolest most wonderful looking place in the world I agree that it is the best.
When I lived in Michigan there was a similar play ground to the Water playground in Tychy, Poland. We would go there ever summer, but it didn't have the colorful water spraying out. My favorite playground though would have to be The Woods of Nest in Hakone, Japan. This playground is a creative interpretation on the normal swings. Also its colorful, lots of space to run and climb on things.
@Emerson18 I agree with you because this playground is full of possibilities for everyone, whether it is to climb the jenga like sides or jump into the large net, this playground is full of imagination and reminds me of being a kid again.
All of the playgrounds were spectacular and were extremely creative. But of all of them the best one was the sculptural playground in Schulberg, Germany designed by ANNABAU. My favorite part of all playgrounds in the nesting where you can climb on and this entire part is covered with this netting, both vertical and horizontal and even tilted sideways!
The best playground I have been to was in New Canaan. The playground has many advanced and cool elements. It has a rock wall, monkey bars, slides, and tunnels. However the best part of this playground was this huge spider web! This web must've been 15 feet high. Kids could climb up to the top of it. There were many rubber ropes that connected to make the "webbish" ladder. The web also connected the main part of the playground to the high climbing area. In addition, the ground was made of a solid tire material which would soften a fall from the web. Overall this playground was amazing and by far the best I have ever been on!
I like all the playgrounds equally.The reason for that is because all of them are different from each other and unique in there own way so you can't actually say one is better then the other because none of them are the same so you can't compare them like for example the water playground and the monster playground are different from each other and have different fun things about them.
@G-Man I agree with you that the playground that is shaped like a man is really creative. Not only does it look like it is a ton of fun, but it also looks really eye-apealing as well. I could have never thought of something like that, yet it is simple.

I agree and also think that the Sculptural playground in Schulberg, Germany was the best. This one looks the best because it incorporates many different parts in it. It includes a climbing net thing, ropes with knots that swing, and a green siding that you can hang, slide, or crawl across. These multiple ideas help to add variety to this playground. With all the stuff to climb on, I could imagine spending hours at this playground. Therefore this playground is the most entertaining and fun!
I personally think that lots of Usa parks are pretty simple. The reason I think that is because the parks I have been to have just swings, slides, and monkey bars and it is a simple design of those things.

I agree with you because there shows much creativity, almost as the mind who designed was a child. There are many things to crawl through, climb, and its very colorful with attracts many parents and children because if this was painted grey and black, I dont think many kids would be attracted to it, if maybe, be a little scared by it and shows prevention. Therefore, I agree with you because the colorful, design, does really cope with what they were looking for.
My favorite playground out of all of these is the The Blue Whale in Plikta park, Gothenburg, Sweden. This is because whales have been my favorite animal of ever and to play inside of one would be so much fun! Out of all the playgrounds on the list, playing inside of a giant whale would be the best, hands down.

My favorite playground was the bumbleby because its like a house from dr.suses or something. A really cool playground i have been to was in flordia. It was huge had a bunch of slides climbing walls and everthing else. It was like a mega playground complex, it even had a huge pirate ship with thousands of tunnels and mazes.
@YouJustGotCerved I agree that the whale playground was one of the coolest one. This is because playing inside of a giant animal is just so much fun they should have more parks like this.
My favorite playground is The Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. I like it because it is one of the most original play grounds i have ever seen. I think it is really cool how they used the ropes. The hanging seats make this playground even more unique. Also i think the out side wall is petty amazing. It was very well built. This design is both a beautiful play ground and an architectural masterpiece
I agre with AnCh373 because i also think that the Toa Payoh Lorong 6 playground looks like an enjoy able play. I think that the things you mentioned like the thing to climb on, crawl through, and slide down are all valid reasons for kids to enjoy this playground. I would also like to point out the design of the play ground it is built to look similar to a dragon. This make the playground even more attractive.
My favorite of these was the woods of net in Japan. It is so colorful, and so different from any other playground I've ever seen before. It looks like a lot of fun for any kid, and it looks amazing. Because it is so colorful and entertaining, it is my favorite of the playgrounds pictured.

Even though it wasn't my favorite, it was very cool, and I agree that it looked like it was from a Dr. Seuss book, because of its tilted colorful houses. It also looked like a lot of fun. I am not really a fan of playgrounds because I feel like they can be very dangerous most of the time. But if I had to chose one from the article, it would be the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. This is because it looks very fun and interesting. I personally wouldn't go on it, but for a kid that likes playgrounds, I think that they would really engoy this playground in Japan. I agree with you. I agree with you when you say that the The Brumleby playground, in Copenhagen looked like something from Dr. Suess. I think this also because it has a twisty feeling to it, just like Dr. Suess' writing felt like. That is why I agree with you.

There was 1 playground that I went to, there was a giant web, and at the bottom there was another web witch would catch you if you feel (even if you did so on purpose) Also, there was a giant prism witch you could climb on.

I have never been to a really cool playground like any of these but wish I could. My favorite one is the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan playground because it really stuck out to me. All of the playgrounds were really cool, but I thought this one had really pretty colors and was really unique. However, I’m not really sure how much use kids could get out of using this playground. I just thought that this one was very extraordinary.
I don’t agree with Man on the Moon because I don’t think kids actually care that the curved house one was “twist reality to extent where it is almost fantasy.” It’s a playground, where kids like to play, not look into the thought of the design. There is nothing much for the kids to even do on that particular playground, what’s fun about that?
I liked the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland. This is because it looks really cool at night. It is also very colorful. It would really be cool if we had a play ground like this in Monroe at wolf park or at the lake.

I think that the coolest playground out of all the ones shown was the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. I think this because it has many things that the average child likes to do, such as, climbing ropes, swings, and plenty of space to run. The best one i have been to is the wolfe park playground. This one is nothing in comparison though.

I agree with you because the water park could be very fun to play with at night. I know this because, like you said, the colors would be sprouting up all over the place. It would look like liquid fireworks! Plus, you could sneak around the playground with no one able to see you unless you stepped in the way of the lights, which would make it perfect for Hide And Seek. I think the best and most attractive playground out of the fifteen is the Woods of Net playground in Hakone, Japan. I think it was the best because it was the largest, most colorful. That would catch people's attention, and would make them want to visit it. I also think that it looks very unique. Most playgrounds aren't extremely colorful with bright neons colors, and have a large netting center piece. So I think that the Woods of net playground is the best playground.

My favorite play ground is the one in japan called woods of net because when i think of a play ground it has to have crazy color which this did and thing to jump,climb, and swing all over which this also has. i also like this becase it looked almost as though it belonged in an art musuem like the MOMA because it looked very modern and different.
My favorite playground from those would be Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Why? Because I love climbing! I may not be able to win a fight because I’m not very strong, but when you are as light as I am, climbing, pull-ups, sit-ups, and pushups are extremely easy!
My favorite was the Brumleby playground in Copenhagen. This is because of the way that it bends reality. The way that the houses bend makes it an incredibly interesting structure, even just to look at. The time and effort that must've gone into building it is ridiculous. That is why I think that this playground would be phenomenal to play on and also just incredible.
Out of all the playgrounds I have gone to, the coolest one would have to be ether Wolf Park (purely because of its size and because it’s like a maze), or I don’t know exactly where it is, but somewhere between Bangor MA and Steuben, there is a playground behind a fast food restraint, I like it because it has one of those man powered marry-go-round.

I agree with you that the Woods of Net in Japan was a very interesting playground. Like you said, the playground has very cool colors and is really unique. The way the colors overlap and blend together perfectly is fascinating. Rarely do you see something so well thought out as this, where they had to know exactly what they were going to do. That is why I agree with you that this was a great playground.
I do not recal any AMAZING playgrounds that I have seen. But the ones in the article. Those were pretty awesome. I have always had an idea for a playground. A giant swirly slide, and one huge trampoline leading up to a set of monkey bars and/or a zipline. It would also have a gigantic tree house like thing that is in normal playgrounds. That is just the start of my dream treehouse. But overall, I havent seen any cool playgrounds besides these.

I agree. This is because I used to go to that same playground. It had something like 8 swings and had one of those spinny things that you had to hold on to. I always loved that long slide. That see-saw was amazing too. Overall I agree, that place did have a pretty cool playground.
My favorite playground was at Reed Intermediate School in Newtown. It was my favorite because it had so many jungle jims and even a big climbing tower made of rope.

My favorite playground was Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Although I liked every playground because it connected to the culture of all of the areas they were built. For example the Forest of Cherry Blossoms at Moerenuma Park, Hokkaido, Japan really connected to japans technology advancing, and bright color and shape culture. In sweden they had a park with a blue whale which connected to their sea and northern culture. As you can see all of the playgrounds connect to the environment that they are in.
I believe these playgrounds really are creative because I've never seen anything like them...EVER. Who has ever seen anything like the one by Tom Otterness in NYC!? I know I definitely haven't - it's so unique! I would neveer believe that playground could also be a huge robot! Therefore, these originals are very different and creative, and would definitely be cool to go and visit sometime.
I agree that my favorite was the woods of net in japan. I think this because it is a giant net and has a really cool architectural design. I think this would be very interesting and different for kids to climb through and on. The bright colors and new technological design play towards Japan's culture. I can agree that most of the playground we often go to, or see are not very creative because all there is are swings, slides, and not much else. But these playgrounds completely take ordinary to a totally different level!!! Especially ones like the first picture (the whale). It has multiple functions that are not the usual ones, and looks a ton of fun compared to the normal playgrounds where all we do is the same thing. Therefore, these playgrounds would be a lot more fun to have some-what locally because our time would be better spent when coming to these types of playgrounds vs. the ordinary ones we normally go to.
I have not been to such an awesomeplayground before. But my favorite playground from these pictures would have to be the Brumleby playground in Copenhagen because of the illusion. It seems as though the whole playground set itself of off, when in reality its not, this is fun and appeasing to the eye so it probably looks 10 times more awsome in a little kid's eyes. Besides this playground has all of the features included, rather than some of the other designs which are either a single slide, or a rock climbing wall, and such. Plus this playground looks a bit more safe as well. This is why This desgned playground is my favorite out of all 15.

I suppose many people would like this playground in Singapore. But It doesn't have any features. Its extremely plaine, I mean sometimes it can take alot to have a child enjoy a playground with out alot of things to do, if and when they get bored of one thing. Wouldn't you ever get bored? I believe that the most interesting playground on the article would be the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland because of the way it is designed. One example of how interesting the playground is, is how kids can have a giant area of playing in all these different spray features. Another example of how interesting the design of the water park is, is that when it gets darker out the spray feature would light up in different colors. Therefore, since after looking at the two pictures of this park, I believe that it had the most interesting design.

I think this article really showed how creative people have became over the years. Not that long ago almost all playgrounds had the same boring, familiar designs. They were all mostly made of wood or plastic with simple nessacities like slides, monkey bars and swings. But now we have these amazing extravagent playgrounds. It just goes to show how much creative and intuitive we have come to be. 100 years ago people would probably never dream of playgrounds like this but now they are popping up everywhere.

I like your ideas. If these playgrounds are achieveable than so are the ones that are in your dreams. In my opinion it is really important for people to be creative and open to new things. These playgrounds are just the start. It is vital to be able to try new things like these playgrounds. Until now most cities just had regular vanilla playgrounds but the designers challenged that and the result was pretty awesome. In conclusion Ryan I think you should pursue your dream. Who knows maybe you could design the next playground for Monroe.
No, Sadly I have not been to any cool playgrounds. My favorite playground on the article would be the rope one. It would definitely be this one because when I was younger and still now I love to hang on ropes. That is exactly what that one is meant for.

I couldn't choose between The Forest of Cherry Blossoms at Moerenuma Park, Hokkaido, Japan and Monster footprint in Shenzhen, China. The Forest of Cherry Blossoms is one of my favorites because of the fact that it looks absolutely beautiful at night with the water lit up and the different colors mixing together perfectly! I also like the Monster footprint because I love to climb so that one seems the most fun to me! One cool park I went to in Hawaii which I don't remember the name of, but they had a lot of tunnels and you had to find your way out by going down a slide and a few of the slides had water at the bottoms.

Kaleigh, I agree with you on that playground because it does have an inviting look that makes you want to sit down or just stare at the way it's designed since it is a super cool design! If you are able to go inside of it this would defiantly be my favorite playground because it looks similar to a trampoline and it also has swings along with seats that look a lot more comfortable than our park benches!
Those are some pretty cool playgrounds but I'd have to say my favorite one is the Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. It is very colorful and peaceful and from the looks of it, it seems like a lot of fun!! I would have enjoyed playing there when I was little a lot! That is why it is one of my favorites, I never seen such a colorful playground.
My favorite play ground out of all of these is the colorful one made out of strings. I liked it because it was so bright and happy and it looked so fun fro children to play on. It reminds me of a Dr.Sesus cartoon and i loved Dr. Sesus as a kid so that could be why I think it looks so cool to me. I have been on one play ground before, it was this science playground. One wall of the building was made of stained glass it looked so cool. There were different sections within the science playground and it was run with solar panels, windmills and other green resources.
I found the Woods of Net playground in Hakone, Japan very interesting. It was very colorful and looked like it was made of yarn. The "playground" was pink, red, orange, yellow, seen blue and purple! For a child, just seeing bright, vivid colors is amazing, but even the shape of it was very eye catching. There were hanging balls of yarn that kids could swing on and little beanbag like structures of this material that could be used as a place to sit down and relax. All in all, this was a very cool playground because of its eye catching colors and amazing structural design.

I disagree with what you said, saying that that most interesting playground was the twisted houses one. In the picture there are two houses are slanting and twisted. You said that this was you're favorite because it was so different. However, I didn't think it was very different or unique because they really just looked like regular houses that were slanted. Out of all those creative, colorful, and diverse structures the houses where not the greatest. This is why I disagree with you.
I really enjoyed looking at the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland. Its bright colors during the evening really captured my attention. I was in awe, looking at the amazing water park like structure they built there. There are umbrella water fountains, creative kite-like water showers and even a walk through tunnel water fountain as well! Also, this playground was very unique, because it is not common for an all water playground. For me, this place is paradise for I am a water lover myself. All in all, this was one of my favorite playgrounds because of its captivating nighttime lights, its structural design and its uniqueness.
My favorite playground of these was the water playground in Poland because it looked not only unique, but very fun and colorful. The designers didn't keep the water dull and plain, but actually added color to it making it look more fun and interesting. I have been to a water playground somewhat similar to this one in Maryland. It was quite fun to try to dodge the water but still end up soaked. I find these playgrounds to be nice for a hot summer day.

I agree with you. I thought that the water playground was my favorite too. I also thought that your connection about this playground to the Disney light show was very accurate. They not only shot water out of the ground, but also added color for the extra excitement. I think that was very clever to connect to.
My favorite playground is the Water Playground in Tychy, Poland because it looks so un-real. In the first picture they show it looks very magical and kids would enjoy that because they themselves would want to be magical. Also, it is very bright and sends out a happy vibe. It's also very open. There's enough room for a good amount of kids to play there.
My favorite playground was the one in Japan that was a huge 3D net, and the twisted house. I like the net because it looks so different, and I bet you could take a nice long nap in it. In addition, I think that the twisted playground is cool, because I would get so dizzy on that. It also looks like it needed a lot of archietectural structure to build safely. Therefore, my favorite playgrounds were the net and the twisted house ones for their unique designs.

I agree with you that my favorite playground was the Woods of Net playground in Hong Kong, Japan. I liked it just because of how unique it is, and how people play on it without getting injured. As I said before, I could just take a long nap in the middle, like a caterpiller in a cacoon. In addition, I would have never thought of making a playground out of a huge multicolored net. Therefore, the Woods of Net playground in Japan is my favorite for its unique design.
I think the best play ground is the woods net in Hakone Japan. Being 13 i would still love to play in this playground. It is a Challenging terrain to concur and play. Its colorful and creative something different and would be suprised to come across such a place.
I think another great playground is the Large Cod because i am Fascinated by marine life and the environment. Also it looks like a great big space to runaround and have some adventures. I also think that the landscape is unique with the green poles coming out of the ground the represent the seaweed of the ocean floor.

I agree with 12345678910 because the woods of the net was really cool. I also think the statue was very unique and colorful. But all the other ones were cool and unique. But another of my favorites were the one with the net hanging down from the wood.
I think a playground that would be effective would be a millenuim falcon ship that would have swings shaped like star ships and mind blowing detail to the contol panel. Also, there could be a flight simulator. This could be effective to young and old kids.
I enjoy the playground at wolf park. I liked the playgrounds that look like they're tipping over because it looked cool.
