submitted by student -- In the movie Sherlock Holmes, Holmes and Watson have to solve a mystery regarding someone who apparently came back from the dead. If you have seen this movie I would like to know what you thought of it. I personally liked it a lot.

I'm debating on seeing this movie. Its sounds like somthing i would like from the description. Any comments?
I personally thought that the movie was very okay. it wasnt amazing,the could have gone more in depth with the plot and i prefer the book. but i prefer most books to their movies anyway.
i thought i was a great movie!!! although it did have some flaws...they mumbled and it was hard to hear what they said and the plot wasn't very clear...but, on the other hand it had great action scenes, was very funny, and entertaining! i would suggest seeing it...robert downey junior is a great actor and is hilarious! Go and See it!!!
I thought this movie was really good. Since Im a wimp, i closed my eyes at anypart that was the littlest bit creepy . This caused me to be a little confused at someparts , since the movie is extremly hard to follow. Its very fast pased and requires your full attention. The efeects were very real looking and i liked it alot.go see it !

saw it new year's eve. greatmovie kinda funny but alland all great storyline. I liked how the movie played out and the mystery to it.
I thought that the movie was great. i loved the complex storyline not to mention the action and diolouge was superb. My favorite part was the battle in the boxing ring.It was awesome when Sherlock knew how to attack.

i saw the movie sherlock holmes and i think it was a very interesting movie and how every little detail in everyday life can lead to something important as holmes did in the mystery of the rebirth and "tricks" blackwood preformed
for my two pennies I would like to say that Robert Downey Jr is an unbelievable actor...anyone that doubts that should see Tropic Thunder. On a serious note, those of you who have seen the movie, a nice way to tie it in to class and get some extra credit would be to research and read some of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous prose - H
i thoudht the movie was okay. the story line was to long. the problem sherlock had to solve to to long to figure out. sherlocks partner was not an exciting guy. he seemed boring to me. over all i thought it was okay.
I agree with ballo. The storyline was difficult to follow and was very long. Besides The fact it was long, the action scenes were amazing! I like that holmes can break things down and figure out how to fight the person before he actually does. I would recommend the movie, it was great! Robert Downey Jr. Was amazing and really funny!
Robert Downey Jr shall never beat Patrick Dempsey. Just saying..... :)
I just saw the movie over the weekend and I thought it was okay but not the best ever. I thought that Robert Downey Jr. mumbled a lot so you coudn't understand him a lot of the time and the case took too long to solve. I didn't like the setting beacuse it looked way too dirty and gross. However, I did like at the end when Homes explained everything and the little flashes when he was explaining how he solved the case. I do recommend for everyone too see it because the action was very exciting.
I realy liked the sherlock holmes movie. it hhad alot of science in it and it relates to one of my favorite movies
i thought the movie was very good...however, this movie came out at the same time as avatar. avatar in my opinion was all around a better movie than holmes
this was again a great movie. I have to agree with you mr. Horvath robert downey jr. is an amazing actor and both this movie and tropic thunder were great. I loved how sherlock knew the exact point and time of attack.
I agree with Ian a lot. I thought that the movie was okay. They could have elaborated on the plot in MUCH deeper thought. Even though I havent read the book, i have a feeling that it would be much better than the book.
