Perfect Sensory Sentences (8th grade)

Here is your shot to write me a great sensory sentence that creates an effect.  Remember, I need to see at least 9 PERFECT sentences up here!!!

I throw open the abandoned refrigerator door, my eyes ablaze with hunger, soon I realize the house has been dormat to long for any food to survive, my stomach drops to my feet and rolls into a ball of despair. I scratch at the handles of the rusty refrigerator draws, my stomach aching at the memory of food that used to fill this drawer, but instead all that remians is the putrid smell of mold.

The decaying smell of yogurt wafted through the air as I open the rounded lid with a repulsive green moss forming at the center and globs of solid and chunky dairy from days ago are presented to me with the foulest rotting and most vulgar scent, my stomach aches and groans, but the emptiness and grotesqueness of the refrigerator is still upon me.

Empty and blank, the plastic shelves stood bearing no load, none of Martha's roast pork dinners, or fillet mingon steaks, it and the cracked plaster and peeling linoleum that surrounded John reflected his new life.

The fire ahead of us blazed ten feet high, making my mother and I feel as though we were in front of an open oven, while the nauseating smell of melting rubber creeped into our noses and all I could think was that this was my doing.

Barren and Desolate, the fridge selves were deserted and all that was left was the rancid,maggoty, rotting yogurt that occupied the air with its decaying smell.

Everyone can feel the frost nipping at their skin as the hatch door opens and light slowly pears into the cave, and then when you think there will be a nice paradise out side there are smooth hills of cotton snow.

I watched as the blood cells raced each other to see who would get to her face fastest, as her pure face turned scarlet, she clenched her fist into a white-knuckled position, about to split any thing in half if caught to close, until my eyes stung just by whatching her.

As he approached the end of the competition faster and faster, the atrocious smell and gross taste of thawed sushi left to be eaten on his plate became unbearable, making him swallowing harder and harder, feeling like molding was growing back of his throat, as barely thinking of anything else other than how to not throw up right before time run out.

My hungry eyes scanned the first shelf, second, then shifted onto the third. Immensely displeased with the barren wasteland before me, the door was shut with disappointment and disgust.

Tearing open the door, again and again, hoping that food would magically appear on the abandoned shelves, disappointing me with the appearance of not even a crumb landing in my sight.
