Don't forget to set up a twitter account when you get the chance. Parents and students are welcome to join and follow me. You are looking for horvathLAclass. Remember that you will need to set your account to send tweets to your cell phone if you want to get updates sent through text. Standard text messaging rates apply so make sure you know whether or not you have unlimited texts before you sign up.

i've had a twitter, never use it much though... i'll add it now

I find that this is a great way to not assign, but remind kids about a homework assignment. I find it very helpful if I forget about an assignment I can just check if Mr. H. has something written about hw. THX!
I think twitter is a very good thing for the class because if i don’t know what we have for homework or I forgot to write the homework down in my agenda I can just go on twitter to see what we have. This is very helpful.

Using Twitter as a way to remind kids about homework is a great idea. Since most people these days are using technology all the time, and are on their phones a lot, and this will be able to remind them easily and is very effective. Great idea.
i like the twitter idea because usually by the first week in october i either lose my agenda or just stop using it, so this way i'll just get it texted to me everyday

This is a good idea because I usually don't write in my agenda anyway... just like most people.
i never write in my agenda because i usually remember all my homework but for times that i don't and no one answers my calls when i try to ask them this is s good idea so i will always have a place to look for it.

I think that this is a great way to find out about homework. Especially for people like me who don't write their homework down in their agenda or forget to. I just need to go make one now!

Twitter is helpful. I think it is great to use especially reminding me of homework. I already have it on my ipod so perfect.
I've had a twitter for a while, and i use it a lot, so i think it is a great idea for people who enjoy going on twitter for other reasons, but can still use it for school.
