no if i had the choice to become immortal i would not because then you wouldn't appreciate life as much. As my favorite movie (Tuck Everlasting which is about a family that drinks water that turns them immortal) says, "The living are like trees, they grow and change and blow in the wind, but we are like rocks stuck on the side of the river we see the water pass by but dont get to actually live the journey." Therefore immortality is not something i would like to have because you never get to experince things you can only watch. You dont have the same emotions like fear as mortals.
I'm not sure, its a difficult choice because there are so many pros and cons for each. First, since nobody can tell us whether there is a life after this one, then we don't know. And, who wants to just die and everything you've done be erased over time. Or, you can live forever and never have to face death. But also, immortality may drive someone mad because you would have to watch all your friends and family die off, one by one, while you live on with the memory of that forever. And there are many more examples, but it would take forever to explain. Therefore, since there are pros and cons to each side, I can't decide whether i'd want to be immortal or not.
