something about school. What was your favorite part of school this year and why?

My favorite part about this year was our team because I have a lot of my friends on it and also I like our teachers (for the most part)Having friends on the same team really helped my through this year because they can share the same stress of work and projects assigned. Also, when I like my teachers it makes class a lot less boring because we can joke around in class. That always makes the class seem shorter than it really is. Therefore, this year I really liked the people involved in our team.
There were a few things that I liked about this year, although i am literally DYING for summer. This year, i liked how my group of friends grew a lot and became kids that I see alot on my team and in sports, ect.. One thing that I cannot deny, is that I learned a ton of new things. I learned things like dymentional analysis in algebra, to an excess of information in poetry from Language arts, about the civil war in social studies, and the periodic table in science. (Not to mention everything that I picked up on in my exploritories, like how to cut wood, and fly a plane in tech ed, to how to stay away from harmfull elements in my future in health. Therefore, this year, i learned more than i could imagine.
I did learn a lot of things this year even though it was very hard in this class and algebra to keep up with the homework. I think that its not my favorite part of school right now but the things I learned this year will be very important in surviving highschool and college and most importantly getting a good job. Its good that I am more prepared for highschool this year and even though it is hard to learn so many math problem types and language arts clauses, it was more fun struggling through it with a lot of friends in my class like Kristen said. Therefore, the fact that everyday I am closer to getting a good job and not having to do pointless work in half of the classes is the best part of school for me. Joking around with friends is still a close second but it won't matter later in life.
My favorite part of school this year is being on the school softball team. I don't want to stop playing! I got a chance to play my favorite sport, and bond and build friendships with people that I normally would not, and don't see as much in school because they may me on different teams. Also, the 7th graders. Therefore, that was my favorite part of school this year because I made more friends and I'm having fun doing it all.
My favorite part of school this year was our team because of the people on it. For example, I had a lot of friends on the team to start off and now I have met some new people that I have become great friends with. Don't get me wrong, I want summer more than anything but I was to pick one thing I liked about this school year, it would definitely be the team I was put on.
My favorite part of school this year were my friends. They are one of the only reasons while it is worthwhile to go to school. Especially this year, I made so many new friends, whether in the hallways or in the plays, either way, I enjoy spending time with all of them. I want summer to come really bad, but it means seeing my friends less, with vacations and activities, there won't be a chance to see them everyday. Therefore, because my friends have made this year so valuable to me, they were definitely my favorite part of the year.
My favorite part of school this year was the group of kids I was placed with because I have made a lot of new friends in each of my classes, and it has been great getting to know them throughout the year, or growing closer to those who I have known for years. Last summer I was very concerned as to who will be in my classes, if I’m going to be with my friends from last year….I have gotten very lucky, and was able to make a lot of new friends and maintain a lot of friendships from past years as well. I do not know who I am going to share classes with next year; one can only hope it will be with the same group of kids. Therefore, my favorite thing about school this year was the kids I shared classes with because a lot of them either become my friends or stayed my friends, which is what everyone hopes for.
My favorite thing about school this year was when we played basketball in gym. Basketball is my favorite sport so i really enjoyed playing it in gym class. Therefore, since i really dont like much of anything in school, i liked playing basketball in gym
My favorite part of school this year would be making new friends that I used to not know existed. I moved to monroe in 2009 and last year I met a lot of people, but I didn't meet everyone. Threrfore, I became friends with people this year that I didn't even know existed last year.
I think that my favorite part of this year was meeting new people that I hadn't met or talked to before. For example, within my first few days in 8th grade, I started to talk to other people that I didnt know last year, like Colleen and Brooke. They were just two people who I had seen in school before but never really made an attempt to talk to them and get to know them. But after talking to then a few times, we soon enough became really good friends and talked more often. Therefore, my new friends I've made this year are the best thing about 8th grade.
I think my favorite part of this school year was making new friends because I became friends with more people this year.For example last year i didn't have alot of friends and this year i have alot of friends.Therefore this shows that my favorite part of the school year was making new friends.
Although i am really looking forward to summer i like having to go to school because i get to be with all my friends. For example while in school you get to be with all of my friends and see them all the time but in summer you lose contact with some of your friends and dont see them as often. Therefore i like school because i get to be with all my friends throughout the year.
My favorite thing about this year has to be that I learned a lot of new things this year. For example this year i learned how to annotate stories and poem in language arts, i learned about long island sound in science, i learned about the civil war, world war 1 and world war 2 in social studies. Plus i learned so many ne thing in algebra that i did not know before. therefore this year i learned new things.
My favorite thing about this year was I learned a lot of new things this year because many of the things I learned was very interesting. I learned a lot about L.A. and grammar that I never knew before. I learned a lot of new algebra. I also learned so much more about science. Therefore, my favorite thing about this year is I learned a lot of new things.
My favorite part of the year was actually math class and my math teacher, because from 5th to 7th grade I stuggled with math the whole year and I never understood it. I couldn't even keep up with what I was "learning", also I always had math teachers that didn't go above and beyond trying to get the students to fully understand what they were teaching like Ms.Sinkevich does. I never had a math teacher that made it fun and entertaining to learn new things like Ms. Sinkevich does, for example we play all differnt games to make it more fun to learn math. Therefore I am extremly better at math, and i have had a good grade in that class all year.
Obviously, I love summer and the nice weather, but I know I am going to miss this team a lot. With that said my favorite part of the year was out team. I liked our team because I loved all the teachers. None of them were way too strict or hard. They challenged us but in a good way. Plus I loved all of our teachers’ attitudes. You have Ms. Johnston who is the finny, loving one, Ms. Sinkevich who is very nice, Mr. Collins who jokes around with all of us, and then Mr. Horvath who loves to make fun of us in a funny way and is always making everyone laugh. Therefore, I believe that my favorite part of this year would be our amazing team with the best teachers.
My favorite part about this year was learning a lot of new things to get readyfor high school. Once I started to learn things that we need to know for highschool I felt good about knowing that i was going to high school next year.
My favorite thing about this year is that some of my teachers are funny because the comical comments they state make me joyous. As a teacher makes a silly, ridiculously, or hysterical comment, I probably will be pleased by the situation and will become joyous. For the reason that being joyous is fun and a good thing it is one of my favorite things about this school year that some of my teachers are funny teachers.
My favorite part of this year is/was definitely being on the commander team because of the peers and the teachers that are/were a part of it. For example, I had many of the friends I had last year on this team so I got to hang out more with them, but I got to meet so many new people that I never really associated with before too. I also liked this year because of the teachers. Each of them have/had their own personalities and they all really added to the way I learned this year and interacted with them. Therefore, the people that have surrounded me throughout the year have really made this one of the best years I have had.

Even though i cant wait for school to be over already, my favorite part of the year you would definitely have to be all the friends I've made this year. Usually, i'd stick with my usual group of friends but this year i definitely spread out a little and opened up to more people so now i have a lot of new friends and I'm happy that i do. Also, i loved our team and all our teachers because we all went together so well and it made classes and everything else we did together a lot of fun.
my favorite part of school this year would have to be my friends and our team because i meet new friends. for example, i talked to poeple i normally do not talk to and i became friends with poeple i was not friends with before. also i loved our team because we have the best teachers and we have a good team. therefore i loved this school year more than any other school year.

Also, I actually like writing poetry! So, despite the fact that I receive the most homework in his class, its still my favourite.
My favorite part of this year was learning new things, i did not know most of the things i learned this year from last year, so therefore my favorite part was learning stuff.
I think my favorite part of this school year was all the new people I met. Going into this year, my best friends were on a different team and I was nervous to be all alone. But this year I met a whole bunch of new people and became close with a lot of them. Therefore, I'm happy that I can leave 8th grade with an old group of good friends and a new group of good friends. As much as I want summer, I am happy about all the new people I met in 8th grade
I loved this year. People think I am so weird but I really like school. I like seeing my friends. I know the work was hard and Horvath got on a lot of our nerves, but he has tought us so much and we really haven't realized it. All the reading and essays we have done will help us. I like how we have more freedom in 8th grade.
What I liked most about this year was being on a team where there were nice teachers and where I had a lot of friends. By having all nice teachers it made coming to school a lot easier becasue you didn't have to worry about teachers yelling and giving you a ton of work without teaching you anything. Also, by having a lot of friedns on the team you could always go to them and talk about the stress of all the homework we had or just talk about other stuff. Therefore, this school year was a very fun and memorable year!
My favorite part of this year is having friends on my team and learning new things. I may not necessiarly like doing the school work but i do talking with friends and learning alot of new things in algebra, spanish, Language Arts, and science. I learned alot this year and I had alot of fun in school this year. Therefore my favorite things this year were learning new things and having fun with friends.
My favorite part of the year were the team parties. I liked the team parties because we all got to eat, talk to friends, and rest a little. Therefore the team parties were my favorite because we got to take a little break from the school work and just relax.

My favorite part of this year was meeting new people because I was new this year. I did not know a lot of people so I was nervous about that. Therefore, my favorite part of this year was meeting new people because that was my greatest fear.
My favorite part of this school year was making new friends because of how they treated me. Even though I was the "new kid" and unknown at the beginning of the year, they were all nice to me and helped me fit in. Now, I am friends with every eighth grader in the school. Hence, meeting my friendly friends was to me the most special part of this year so far.
The thing I liked the most this school year is being put on the team that I am on now. When I moved here, I thought that I would not fit in or nobody would like me but everything came easy to me when I was put on this team. Also, according to friends on different teams, they said that my team learned a lot more things than they did and I thought that that's a good thing. Therefore, not only did friends make this school year the best, but so did my teachers.
My favorite part of this year was this team because I feel like I have learned more and the team parties are fun. For example, we have gotten a lot of work in Mr. Horvaths class like essays, projects, and more reading. All this work will prepare us more for high school. Also, the team parties bring the team together and are fun to take a break from the work. Therefore, because of more work and fun celebrations, I think this was a very good team and was a great part of the year.
My favorite part of this year was by far team Commander. I love all the teachers and everyone on it and I am very happy that I got to be on it. I also love being able to see my friends and others.

My favorite part of the year was being on the commander team because we worked hard but it all paid off in the celebrations. For example, we had alot of homework and essays from Mr.Horvath, but we also had a lot of celebraties and parties that made us feel like we worked hard enough and deserved all of it.
This year was one of the craziest years of my life. i admitt i move a lot, but i've never ever moved in the middle of a year. Even though it was really hhard to leave all my friends in mmaryland and my school, I think the best part of this year was being able to make new friends in school that i actually like and being able to lear from new teachers. Even though i was angry about moving in the first place it all turned out well. I'm just excited i made friends so i don't have to hangout by myself this summer!!
My favorite part of the school year was being with friends. School is boring and hard, but it is a time when you get to be with your friends. When school is over we don't get to be with our friends at least 5 times a week. Since next year were going to high school some kids will go off to private schools and some of us will never or hardly see them. I do want school to end but a part of me doesn't.
The only way I managed to survive through this school year was because of Kelly McHugh! We always found something to laugh about; even through Horvath's poetry unit! We have had a lot of laughs this year and I think that was the best part of 8th grade I will definitely remember this year!
My favorite part of school this year is getting the zeros on my papers for the first time. My first zero this year gave me the most terrible options of what to do in my life. I was like, "This is going to be a long year." This is my favorite part because I think that I have become so much better with essays now and I can be ready for High School. Mr. Horvath gave us all of this work for a reason and it is not only to learn to read and write more, but to be prepared for High School. This is how its gonna be for the HW in High School. Even more than that! Therefore, I can now write better papers and not get zeros on them so I can get a better grade next year for language arts.
I have to admit that my favorite thing about school is the Commander team teachers, I feel the 4 of them connect with each and everyone of us in someway, they are all supportive and help you when you need something even if its a problem out of school. Horvath prepared us for high school so much, yeah it got annoying but do you realize how all the students in high school come back to visit him, he obviously helped everyone no matter how bad you don't want to admit it, we all know its true, I loved this year. Commander was definitely the best team. I'll miss it!
My favorite part of the year was honestly language arts because it made me a better reader and writer. Besides the fact that we had to accomplish a lot with essays, projects, reading, doing blog comments and much more, I did improve my writing. Since we did so much and had to redo everything perfectly so we didn't get a zero it increased my writing skills therefore, making me a better writer. And that's why language arts was my favorite thing about 8th grade especially since the teacher was Mr. Horvath!
My favorite part of this year was how great our team was. Honestly, I look at the other teams, and they don't have as great teachers or activities that we have!! I'm really lucky to have been on this team this year, and in addition to learning a lot, I've made great new friends. It all went by soooo fast, and although I'm overly excited for summer, I'm going to miss 8th grade!

My favorite part about this year was how close i got with all my friends. If someone asked me who my best friend was i wouldn't be able to answer because all my friends are now my best friends. I also liked how we learned to be independent this year. We had more freedom and responsibility this year and i think that it made us all better learners.

My favorite part of this year was hanging out with my friends. This is because i get to see them all week long while during the summer i wont get to see them as much. Also, many of my friends were in my classes and that may not happen next year since we arent taking the same classes. Therefore, if I had to choose one thing as my favorite, it would be hanging out with my friends.
Of course, like everyone else, I am DYING for summer to come. But, as Ted said, there were things that I loved about 8th grade. I liked my teachers, whom I think prepared me for Masuk, I like the new friends that I have made this year, I love all the classes that I took and the people in them. I'm definitly going to miss 8th grade and all the good times that we had this year.
Even though I'm really excited for summer I am going to be sad when school ends. This year has been really great. From the teachers, to all my friends being in my classes I really enjoyed most of this year. I really enjoyed all my classes and although everyone says how Mr. Horvaths class is to hard and theres to much work, he really got us well prepared for high school.Overall, I just loved all the teachers, class, and new friends I've made this year. I'm really going to miss 8th grade.
My favorite part of this school year has been the freedom that we didnt have last year. This year we are more responsible for things such as homework but with that we have more freedom with what we do for projects and assignments and the teacehers aren't as harsh. Therefore the freedom has been the best.

I am also realy excited for school to be over but i would miss all the fun activities we do. Team celebrations and feild trips we go on where everyone is so you can hang out with anyone. There fore the feild trips and team celebrations are the things i am going to miss.
I am really happy that school is coming to an end because I am excited to leave Jockey Hollow and finally go into High School. My favorite part about this year was definitely our team Commander and our teachers. Our teachers gave us so many celebrations and made this year a fun year by doing the celebrations and giving us free time in our classes sometimes. Therefore, I am going to miss my teachers and all the celebrations that I don't think we will have next year.

you are right gaby years can be crazy and fun, but you have to remember that some years can be bad and brutal. that is just how school works you have bad years and you have the best years ever.
